Action

No sé porqué me llama tanto la atención la importancia de la action en Hamlet, dónde la imposiblidad de la acción deja preso al personaje entre el pasado y el futuro, y la importancia en Eliot. "Right action is freedom, from the past, and from the present " (creo recordar,) y también "On whatever ... the mind might be intent at the time of death... this is the one action that shall .."Porque la acción cumple (que yo vea, probablemente cumple más funciones) dos funciones en estas dos obras: uno la liberación del pasado y dos la posiblidad, al haber alcanzado un destino de seguir hacia el futuro. "Every end is a beginning, every poem an epithaph".

Las citas no son exactas, pero simplemente estoy intentado reproducir el significado.
Porque Hamlet es como esos viajeros de Eliot que han abandonado el puerto o la estación, pero todavía no han llegado a ningún término. Sí, lo han adivindo como Bill Crystal en... el día de.. por algo a Eliot le llamaban el viejo zarigüeya.
